Individual Membership

Are you a regular attendee at our events? Do you love Japan and want to be more involved with our organization?

Support JASA by joining our network as an individual member! We are so fortunate to have a diverse group of representatives from universities and student groups, small businesses, economic development agencies, cultural interest groups, and more. Whether you are Japanese or American, represent a group related to Japanese business and culture or just have an interest in Japanese culture, we welcome all individual members.

Membership Benefits

  • Invitations to JASA Events
Members receive invitations to JASA’s Annual Dinner & Business Forum, educational and cultural programs, business seminars, and various other events. Additionally, members have priority registration for limited-seating events such as cooking classes and our monthly Kayoubikai.
  • Discounted Tickets

ー Members enjoy discounted tickets or free admission to selected events, including networking events and seminars.
  • Pre-departure Orientation
ー Whether you are traveling to Japan for the first time or need a refresher on Japanese etiquette, we are here to assist you and your group. Receive guidance and an introduction to basic Japanese customs and travel tips.
  •  Priority Registration and Opportunities

ー Members have priority registration and listing for various opportunities, such as hosting a Japanese student, registering as a translator or language tutor, or volunteering for larger events like the Cherry Blossom Festival.

  • Networking Opportunities

ー Members have the chance to network with Japanese and American business and community leaders, as well as officials and fellow society members, through our diverse range of events and programs.
