Executive Director

Wiregrass, Alabama is seeking an Executive Director responsible for recruiting jobs through new business and industry, or expansion of existing business and industry with an emphasis on development and recruitment of industry and businesses to our existing industrial parks. They will develop and maintain relationships with investors and serve as primary contact and solicitor of all funding efforts.

Our ideal candidate will be a team builder who can work with multiple investors and stakeholders. He/she will have a regional mindset and represent multiple communities. They will be an engaged, friendly person who will develop strong relationships at the state level. Our ideal candidate will be a doer who can put plans into action.

Preferred:

•   Established track record of business/economic development expansion and recruitment is preferred. 
•   Knowledge of military facilities and contractors for these facilities
•   Bachelor’s degree

• Good Supervisory Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills allowing for working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders

Salary: $90,000-$110,000 plus exceptional benefits
