JASA's 30th Anniversary Celebration 

Celebrate with us as we reflect on our past thirty years as a society and look forward to growth in the years to come.

Check-In: 5:45pm to 6:15pm

Reception 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Dinner 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Join us as we look back over thirty years of strengthening the bond between Japan and Alabama. We look forward to welcoming many JASA past presidents and Samuel Ullman Award past recipients as we celebrate our history and move forward together as a community.

Reception

Dine and converse with fellow Japanese and American industry and community leaders and enjoy the community of the JASA network. The 2019 program includes traditional Japanese performances, a special guest speaker, and a wonderful view of Birmingham from The Club. 

New and Expanding Companies

We will recognize the Alabama Department of Commerce’s 2018 new and expanding Japanese companies to showcase the significant economic impact of Japan on our state and show our appreciation for those who have chosen to call Alabama home. 

The Samuel Ullman Award

The Japan-America Society of Alabama initiated the Samuel Ullman Award in 1992 to recognize those who have made significant contributions toward the advancement of the relationship between Japan and Alabama. We will honor the 27th recipient of the award during our celebration.
