What is Tanabata?
Tanabata is a Japanese festival that takes place on July 7th. It originated from a Chinese legend that tells the story of two stars, Altair (Hikoboshi) and Vega (Orihime), who are normally separated by the Milky Way but can meet once a year on the 7th day of the 7th month.
