毎年、アラバマ日米協会(JASA)は、アラバマ州内外の会員やゲストが集まり、交流し、食事を楽しむ特別なレセプションとディナーを開催しております。このイベントでは、アラバマ商務省による日本企業の表彰やサミュエル・ウルマン賞の授賞式に加え、ゲストスピーカーによる講演も行い、日本とアラバマの長きにわたる友好関係を祝います。さらに、翌朝にはビジネスフォーラムを開催し、ゲストスピーカーがアラバマ州でのビジネスに関する貴重な情報や最新の動向を共有します。

JASA CELEBRATION DINNER
Each year, the Japan-America Society of Alabama (JASA) hosts a special dinner to celebrate and network with our members and guests. This year’s dinner will feature keynote speaker Ambassador Shigeo Yamada, Ambassador of Japan to the U.S. We'll recognize new and expanding Japanese companies making a significant impact in Alabama and present the 2025 Samuel Ullman Award to an individual dedicated to strengthening the Japan-Alabama relationship.

JASA BUSINESS FORUM
The following morning, our Business Forum will offer valuable insights from guest speakers and opportunities to engage with industry leaders. This year’s guest speakers include Kota Kiriyama, professional bass fisherman and entrepeneur; Morris Morioka, Senior Manager of Promotions and Entertainment for the Rocket City Trash Pandas; Kevin Orr, coach for the Japan Wheelchair Rugby team (2017-2023; 2018 World Champions; 2021 Tokyo Paralympics, bronze); and Kojiro Sampei, Mizuno USA's CFO and CAO. They will share their perspectives on the Alabama sports economy and the cultural and economic relationships between Alabama and Japan.
